The home has a gas log fireplace with thermostat, decks front and back, sunny interior with lots of windows and is charmingly decorated. Two brooks run by the property and into Strawberry Creek. The cabin is located on Tahquitz Dr, which is walking distance to the village and cabins “Brooksong” and “Cottage White”; convenient for group reservations. Multiple TVs with cable, DVD & VHS. WiFi. No pets.

From the parking in front of the cabin one enters up one flight of stairs directly in to the living level of the home made up of the living area with fireplace, kitchen and dining area and a full bathroom with tub/shower. The spacious master suite is located off of the main living area with an Eastern king bed, a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and a walk-in closet. The upstairs loft bedroom has a queen bed and double sofa bed. The owners insist the loft bedroom is actually the best bedroom in the home with its “tree house” ambiance, hundred book plus library and cozy study area (with computer). There is an attached guest studio downstairs with private exterior patio entrance, double bed, single futon, and a half bath (sink and toilet only).

Two Brooks offers three decks; one at the entry, a large deck on the back off of the living area and a small deck off of the loft and a patio off the studio. Despite its convenient location, it feels very private and serene due to its heavily wooded and lush surroundings and the sound of the two brooks running by the property on their way to Strawberry Creek..

While 2 Brooks can comfortably accommodate a family of eight, it’s cozy enough for a romantic getaway for two or an outdoor adventure for two couples.

Cedar Lodge is a 5 Bedroom 4 Bath with Solarium/ game room, living room, family room, and kitchen all in the heart of Idyllwild (walk to all the restaurants and shops in town).  The well appointed bedrooms, three of which have a gas fireplace and flat screen tv,  accentuate this extra-ordinary property. Bedrooms consist of a California King bed, three queen size beds, and one twin bed. There is also a pullout sofa bed in the solarium/ game room.
In addition to the dining area off the kitchen that seats eight, there is additional dining for 12 in the solarium/ game room which can be easily upsized to 20 or more. The Solarium/ game room has a 3 in 1 dining/ bumper pool/ card table, a gas stove, and a 60 inch big screen tv to watch your favorite movie or sporting event on.

The Family room boasts a large Hi Definition flat screen TV and a  and Hi Speed WiFi is available throughout the property.

This spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet has it all! Although the sense is one of being secluded and away from everything, it is only a ten minute walk to the Idyllwild village. This single-level home sits on a large lot and  views abound throughout the house and from the 4 decks.   From the master bedroom suite, or out on its private deck,  you can enjoy the iconic view of the famous Lily Rock formation.

The 3 decks on the front of the house provide generous seating for entertaining and dining al fresco.  Preparing meals will be a breeze in the very well-appointed and well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom suite has a king bed , TV with DVD player, wood-burning stove, full bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub and an antique vanity and chair for the lady of the house to primp (hair dryer included).

Other sleeping areas include one bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom with large shower with multiple designer shower heads. The third sleeping area is the den which sports a closet, desk, computer and printer. The den can provide additional sleeping for two people using comfortable and instantly inflatable Aero  brand inflatable mattresses (60 seconds to inflate/deflate).

The open space area “Great Room” is comprised of the large dining area with seating for 8, the well-equipped wet bar for entertaining and the peaked ceilinged, tree top view, living room. The living room boasts a 46 inch flat screen TV (Cable), stereo and Blue Ray player. Guests will enjoy the living room’s wood-burning stove and floor-to-ceiling windows with fabulous hillside views

The house sleeps six and is pet friendly for one canine.   Other amenities include: indoor washer/dryer, gas BBQ, dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, gas stove top and separate oven, WIFI, and central AC and heat, books galore and an entire cabinet dedicated to games for all ages.

Privately owned, three bedroom view home in Pine Cove. Gorgeous, ridgeline views framed by Colter Pines from a beautiful three acre setting amongst granite boulders, pines & cedars. Contemporary home beautifully furnished. Entry level living, dining, kitchen, view deck, queen bedroom and half bath. Downstairs master suite with king bed, 3/4 bath and a private view deck, full bath in hallway and 3rd bedroom with two twin beds. Wood burning fireplace.

Cathedral ceilings, skylights and expansive windows that emphasize the view. The driveway is long and can be difficult in snow and ice. Because of the steepness of the terrain and the elevated decks this property is not suitable for young children. No pets.

Casa Alta is addressed on Highway 243 but you’d never know it once you start down the long driveway to the modern cabin that sits on three heavily wooded acres. And while the seclusion is much sought after it’s the views and décor that will sell you on renting Casa Alta for your next vacation in Idyllwild. Every room has a view.

The floor plan is reversed with the living areas upstairs at the entry level and two of the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. The upstairs rooms, made up of the living area, dining area, kitchen, powder room and third bedroom with queen bed all have cathedral ceilings and the living room is flooded with light from skylights and a wall of glass (doors and windows) facing views of the ridgeline from Marion Mountain to Lily Rock, Tahquitz Peak and South Ridge.

Although the décor and over all style is contemporary and the rooms are spacious the home feels very comfortable and cozy. The downstairs offers a secondary bedroom with twin beds, a hall bath with tub/shower combo and a spacious master suite with king bed, three-quarter bath and a private view deck.

Casa Alta can sleep up to six guests but is cozy enough to work well as a romantic couple’s “getaway”. Bring food and firewood because once you settle in you won’t want to leave.

Tranquility Lodge is the perfect cabin for those who want a secluded setting that is walking distance to village restaurants, shops and galleries and a stone’s throw to Strawberry Creek. Attention to detail and loving care are the hallmarks of this cabin from the handsomely remodeled kitchen to the themed bedrooms each with a queen bed: Western, African, Americana and Field & Stream. The downstairs is cozy enough for a couple’s romantic getaway but the extra bedrooms upstairs and the large yard make Tranquility Lodge a great family retreat as well.  Spacious outdoor wrap-around deck with large patio table and chairs offers delightful al fresco dining opportunities.
